Our Mission

The purpose of SDNAHN is to provide Hispanic/Latino(a) and all other nurses with the opportunity to network and address specific health and medical professional issues related to the Hispanic/Latino culture.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is "Working to address the educational and health care needs of the Hispanic community".

Chapter membership is open to all active or retired nurses of any degree level, and currently enrolledĀ nursing students of any degree level, as well as anyone who is interested in seeking educational and leadership opportunities and advocacy from nurse role models.

Membership is also open to non-nursing associates who are interested in the promotion of health care in the Hispanic and under served communities.

Membership is available without regard to race, color, religion, national origin or citizenship status, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, or military status.
